Our recommendations

Piedmontese cooking and the truffle season

  • To taste: vitello tonnato, agnolotti del plin, bagna cauda, tajarin with truffle
  • From October to December the white truffle of Alba is in season, and many of our guests come especially, for a weekend.
  • Ask us about the fairs that celebrate it, and the trattorias and restaurants where you can taste it.
  • If you’d like to go truffle hunting with a trifulau, a local truffle hunter, we recommend La Casa del Trifulau in Costigliole d’Asti.
